Los Güiros is excited to announce that we will be closing out the Main Stage on Saturday night of this year's Blackpot Festival & Gumbo Cookoff! With an amazing lineup of high energy acts from all over Louisiana (and beyond) it is an incredible honor to be asked to add our psychedelic latin flavor to the roux and get those two-steppers to freak out. Come early for the gumbo, stay for the Cumbia.

The New Orleans Jazz Museum and the New Orleans Jazz National Historical Park is proud to celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month. Starting Friday, September 22nd through Friday, October 13, you can enjoy weekly live music performances as we honor Hispanic Heritage Month. The concerts will be held inside our third-floor Performance Center every Friday @ 2PM with two special Balcony shows in the Museum’s courtyard on Tuesday, September 19 & Tuesday, October 10th starting at 5:00 PM. All events are free and open to the public; seating is limited and offered on a first-come, first-serve basis.

Audubon Zoo "Celebracion Latina", 6500 Magazine Street , New Orleans, LA 70118

Latin American culture will be in the spotlight as Celebración Latina presented by Pan-American Life Insurance Group returns to Audubon Zoo on Sunday, September 24, 2023. This beloved cultural event offers our community an opportunity to enjoy one of New Orleans’ biggest celebrations of Latin cultures while investing in a local institution dedicated to diversity and inclusivity. This event will offer a true taste of the Latin American culture with live music, children's activities, Latin cuisine, and conservation programing. Included with purchase of Zoo Admission or an Audubon Nature Institute Membership.

Jazz and Heritage Foundation, 1205 N Rampart St, , New Orleans, LA 70116

The New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Foundation presents Fiesta Latina on September 22 & 23, 2023, a two-day festival celebrating the influence of Indigenous, Spanish, Mexican, Caribbean and Central and South American cultures in New Orleans.

Fiesta Latina features live musical performances, dance demonstrations, and delicious food outside of the George and Joyce Wein Jazz & Heritage Center, 1225 N. Rampart Street.

Tickets are $10, available on Eventbrite. Doors open at 6:00pm, the first band begins at 6:30pm and the second band begins at 7:30pm. Fiesta Latina concludes at 8:30pm. Fiesta Latina is a general admission festival for all ages.

In an effort to raise funds and awareness for the people of Turkey & Syria trying to rebuild their lives after the devastating Earthquakes, some of the 9th Ward's best bands join forces for a day of beautiful music and healing! Every suggested donation of $10-$20 goes straight to relief efforts, but anything you've got to give is appreciated (even more is appreciated even more!). There will also be Anatolian food and drink available for purchase so you can spend the whole afternoon with us. Expecting wonderful weather in Clouet Gardens however the rain location for this even will be at The Happyland Theaters just down the street.
